This year our studio teamed up with long-term collaborator VCommunications. It’s the perfect fit. Frank (Staiger) and I first met when I lectured on a course he was studying. Since forming his team of designers and programmers he has steadily built up a varied portfolio of loyal clients and an excellent reputation for robust digital engineering. Working out of Manchester and New York NY our teams share the workload across the Atlantic.

VCommunications have maintained founding principles that set out technical and aesthetic values derived from the highest European standards of build quality. We share a processes of scrutiny, mapping and planning. The majority of VCommunications’ clients have been established businesses, we add our knowledge of start-up and greenhouse web work and add our own experience within multiple sectors.

Over a thousand people watched Kevin Spacey host the 2009 MOFILM Awards in Barcelona at the Mobile World Congress, with thousands more experiencing made-for-mobile content at the MOFILM stand.

Sponsored by Chevrolet, Gigafone and Accenture, MOFILM not only allowed delegates to watch films on their own 'phones via Bluetooth or the iPhone application kindly provided by Vizimo, but also the chance to win a car by making their own short film on the stand.

I joined the agency in the very early years of ecommerce lured by Steve and Paul’s (Walsh) passion for the potential of the web. This was a time when comparatively few businesses were yet to be convinced about the internet as a viable trading environment. So we were working with early movers, start-ups and adventurous brand managers. Our own portfolio of sites needed work on top of our client’s projects.
